“I am truly grateful to the children and parents with whom I have had the fortunate privilege of working with.

I am constantly amazed and inspired by the depth of their ability to learn and it is a joy to witness and be part of this process.

It is through working with these families that I am able to learn, refine and deepen my experience as a therapist and practitioner.”

Lauren D’Arsie is an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Method® Practitioner and Certified Child'Space Method® Practitioner. Her passion is connecting with babies, children, parents and families.

Lauren graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2000. After several years of broad physiotherapy experience she focused her work in Adult and Paediatric Neurological Rehabilitation.  It was during this time that she became interested in infant sensorimotor development and in particular,  the apprenticeship of movement from birth to independent walking. At this time she turned to the Feldenkrais Method® for a shift in thinking, a more detailed study of human movement and newfound inspiration.

During the four-year Feldenkrais Method® training, she also had her first child and became more deeply fascinated with early infant development as it was unfolding before her very eyes! She graduated from the Perth 2 Feldenkrais Professional Training Program in 2009. Following this she travelled abroad with her family to Europe and America furthering her quest for knowledge with various Advanced Feldenkrais Trainings in Europe and a mentorship with Dr Jeff Haller in Seattle and Dr Chava Shelhav.

She was introduced to the Child'Space Method®, developed by Dr Chava Shelhav, which offers a unique and innovative way of working with parents and babies using principles and techniques founded in the Feldenkrais Method®. Through this work Lauren found her life calling. She is one of tthe first Australians to complete the three year Chicago-2  Child'Space Method Practitioner Training Program in 2012 with Dr Chava Shelhav, who has become her mentor. She was given the opportunity to be an assistant trainer in Child'Space practitioner training program in Japan.
